03/04/09 Sleek, silky smooth, rous. Leonardo is the embodiment of a miniature black panther. Don’t be frightened, though, Leo is as gentle as a cat can be. With his clear green eyes and extra long tail he is unmatched for his beauty, grace and balance. Leo enjoyed apartment living for most of his 8 months. Alas, he became another victim of a shameful landlord who would have thrown Leo’s entire family out onto the cold street. Leo has only been with us for a week now, but his former owners give us the following description: Leo is very active, friendly and affectionate toward family, is playful and likes to clown around. He likes to chase and pounce with toys, enjoys hide & seek and paper bags. He enjoyed having other cats in the home. They played together, groomed each other, rough-housed with each other, and slept together. No bug or moth was ever safe from Leo, but he was gentle and kind to the preschool child who lived with him. Bombays generally are curious, but quiet, loving and gentle. They often come when called an often learn to “fetch.” Bombays generally hold their own to larger animals and rush to answer the door to arrivals. Leo is confident and brave.
